I’ve been trying all day to post these thoughts. Here we go again.
Randomness at it’s finest.
Saw snips and heard sound bites from Sarah Palin’s address to the Tea Party folks this weekend. First, I can’t believe she’s criticizing our President for not focusing enough on homeland security. Her advice: focus on security cause that’s what people are concerned with. All of this from a failed attempt to blow up a commercial jet liner on Christmas Day. A FAILED attempt. Seems if my memory serves me correctly, the last guy that was president… they actually did blow something up. Mmmkay.
I personally would *love* to see her run for President. I want more Tina Fey on SNL.
In this same train of thought… Obama, get us some health care reform. Do it. Do no leave this up to congress. Make it happen. Do that thing you do. You know, not red or blue states. Purple.
Tomorrow is my first fill in my lap band. While I’m not concerned one bit about the fill procedure (if I can do an epidural to the back, I can take a needle anywhere) I’m concerned about getting used to the band again. I’m almost six weeks out from my surgery, and I’m just now becoming comfortable. I guess this is what it’s all about, huh? Change, make it work, get used to it, change again. Ok. So, I’ll breathe and see how this goes.
For the first time in about six weeks, we had sunshine on Sunday here. It was almost unusual to witness. I’m glad we had it. We need to dry things out a bit.
